Step 1: Custom-Ordered 6-Pallet Body

To meet our customer's specific operational needs, we ordered a custom 6-pallet cylinder truck body directly from the manufacturer, built to their exact specs. Finished in a custom forest green paint, this body includes specialized features for heavy-duty gas cylinder and pallet transportation:

• Heavy-Duty Mesh Flooring: Features an expanded mesh deck with diamond plate edge accents for a superior grip, drainage, and long-term durability. 
• Dedicated Stake Sections: Heavy-duty vertical stakes positioned to hold up to 6 full pallet loads securely during transit.
• Safety & Placard Integration: Integrated flip-style Hazmat placard holders, reflective safety striping, and LED clearance lights.

Step 2: Precision Chassis Mounting

Once the body arrived from the manufacturer, our team mounted it onto the customer's Kenworth chassis. Proper frame positioning and secure mounting ensure balanced weight distribution across the tandem rear axles, preserving ride quality and chassis durability. 

• Built for Safety & OEM Compliance: Frame integrity is everything on a heavy-duty chassis. Rather than welding directly to the frame, which can weaken high-tensile steel and compromise structural safety, our technicians secure bodies using heavy-duty, bolted shear brackets and vibration-damping hardwood sills. This allows the chassis frame to flex naturally under heavy 6-pallet loads while keeping the body locked down securely for the long haul.

Step 3: Maxon Liftgate Installation

To handle heavy pallet loading and unloading, we installed a heavy-duty Maxon liftgate at the rear.

• Custom Wiring: Our team wired the liftgate directly to the truck's power system for reliable, heavy-duty operation at every delivery stop.
• Smooth Operation: Equipped with an aluminum platform, heavy-duty column guides, and an underbody battery/power unit, this liftgate simplifies dock and ground deliveries.

Step 4: Finishing Touches & Custom Accessories

To make this truck 100% work -ready for the operator, we added custom finishing touches:

• Custom Work Lights: Installed dedicated work lights positioned exactly where the customer requested them for safe night loading and visibility in low-light conditions. 
• Underbody Storage: Installed an underbody toolbox to give the driver secure, weatherproof storage for straps, tools, and gear.
